The Further Education and Training (FET) Certificate in Real Estate consists of a number of subjects, each of which is defined in terms of standards. If you have been operating as an estate agent you probably already meet many of those standards, through other qualifications which you've already earned, or through general experience. The idea of Recognition of Prior Learning is to assess your present knowledge in terms of the standards, and give you full credit for what you already know, so as to reduce the amount of study you need to do to earn the FET Certificate.
